Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on Android-based infotainment systems for the automotive industry. Your job will involve developing Android components at the framework, HAL, and service layers. You will analyze customer needs, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure system performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze internal/customer requirements and convert them into design and code.
  • Develop and debug in Java, C, and C++ for Android automotive platforms.
  • Handle Android framework, HAL, and AOSP-level development.
  • Contribute to software integration, testing (unit, functional, integration).
  • Monitor and stay up to date with Android Automotive trends and versions (Android 12+).
  • Own the software module through its lifecycle, from development to release.


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 4–7 years of Android development experience in automotive/infotainment.
  • Strong experience with Android Framework APIs, Car Framework, AOSP, and Android build systems.
  • 2+ years in Android Automotive OS-based development.
  • Expertise in AIDL, HIDL, HAL services, and device configurations.
  • Deep knowledge of Java, C, C++. Kotlin is a plus.
  • Proficient in Android Studio, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of CTS, VTS, Android Test Frameworks, and Tradefed.
  • Familiar with tools: Git, Gerrit, JIRA, Polarion, Confluence, Coverity, etc.
  • Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Google Test.
  • Good understanding of Android startup sequences and system architecture.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and a good team player.
  • Comfortable working in Agile development environments.


Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 60% aggregate from Class X to UG/PG.
